Laurence Tavernier

The homewear pioneer

As a young designer at Christian Dior, Laurence Tavernier couldn’t find nightwear that suited her and that she felt comfortable in. Therefore, she mostly slept in her husband’s pyjamas. Creative and enterprising, she therefore decided to start her own business in 1987. She played with feminine and masculine cuts and patterns and ventured into different colour concepts. Thus, she revolutionized the world of nightwear with great success in the French market. Meanwhile, her style and originality are appreciated all over the world.

French art of living

Living every moment of everyday life in an elegant yet casual way – this is the guiding principle of Laurence Tavernier. The refined collections of home wear and nightwear are made of fine materials and are characterized by their gentle lines, varied shades of colour and exciting prints. The highest emphasis is placed on quality and comfort.

Inspirations

Travel, nature, exhibitions, works of art, emotions – the inspirations of each collection are diverse. Each new collection tells its own story and is expressed through exclusive prints, cuts, and unique colours. Every single piece is made with love, every detail is worked out until the perfect product is found, in which you can feel good all around. The highest priority is given to the sustainability of the collections with a focus on production in France.
